There were also representatives of departments and branches of the two localities and 50 students from 6 Japanese high schools and 02 high schools in Quang Nam province.
The lotus variety that was given by the city of Kinokawa in Quang Nam province as an Oga ancient lotus, according to information from Japan, this lotus seed was sprouted miraculously from the seed 2000 years ago, planted as a sightseeing spot in Japan. After being cultivated and tended until qualified, this lotus variety will be planted in lotus ponds in Thanh Tinh Quang Nam relic in the current administrative center of Dien Ban Town. It's known that in the city of Kinokawa of Japan besides the ancient Oga lotus variety, the city has also planted lotus varieties given by Vietnam. The gift of lotus seeds from the two countries has become a good symbol for cultural exchange, preserving and promoting the good relationship between the two localities in particular and the two countries in general. On this occasion, Kinokawa city of will sign a cooperation document with Quang Nam province on January 12, 2020.
