Dien Ban Town - Results of an over difficult year

Year 2023 leaved us with valuable lessons about the spirit of overcoming difficulties. Despite facing many obstacles and challenges due to the difficult economic situation and being negatively affected by rapid and complex fluctuations in the world and region, Dien Ban has still achieved great success in many fields with the strength of solidarity, concentration, and outstanding efforts of the entire political system, along with the joint efforts and unanimity of people and the business community.

DIEN BAN TOWN - ACHIEVEMENTS AFTER HALF OF TERM IMPLEMENTATING THE CONGRESS'S RESOLUTION

Looking back at half of term implementing the Resolution of Town Party Committee'S Party Congress; in Dien Ban's context in particular, the whole country and Quang Nam province in general were heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic on all social life's aspects; difficulties and challenges in terms of capital and human resources, inadequacies in mechanisms and policies of the State, disadvantages in the development process, complaints and lawsuits in the field of land, land clearance Equally, the construction order have an increasing and complicated tendency.

Dien Ban Urban Development looking back after 7 years

On May 14, 2016, after a year when Dien Ban was recognized as a Town, , Quang Nam province People's Committee issued Decision No. 1367/QD-UBND approving the Dien Ban Urban Development Project to 2020 with a vision to 2035 to mobilize resources for urban development investment in the town. Over nearly 7 years, the socio-economy and Dien Ban urban appearance has made quite clear changes, reflected in the areas:

E-government is a government that applies information technology (IT) to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state agencies' operations, increase publicity, transparency, provide better public services to the people and businesses. Digital government is a government that puts all of its activities in the digital environment, innovates its operating model, changes the way in which services are provided based on digital technology and data, allowing businesses to participate service delivery process. In other words, this is the government's digital transformation.

The major solutions for Dien Ban in the next year

A new spring has come to Dien Ban's hometown. Last year, in the context of facing many difficulties and challenges due to the complicated and prolonged development of the Covid-19 pandemic, affecting all aspects of economic and social life. However, with the unanimity and joint effort of the Party Committee, administration and people of the town, we have successfully organized the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and the People's Councils at all levels for the term 2021-2026, The implementing the XXIII Town Party Congress Party Committee's resolution achieved the first step encouraging results.

On December 9, 2020, Mr. Phan Minh Dung - Dien Ban District Party Committee Permanent Secretary Deputy, leaded a delegation of Dien Ban Town, visited and gave presents to Tay Giang district - the place has suffered a lot of damages caused by storms and floods recently. Attending with the delegation, there were Mr. Tran Uc - Deputy of Dien Ban Town Party Committee, Chairman of The People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Minh Hieu – Vice Chairman of The People's Committee of Dien Ban Town.
