One of the particularly clearest characteristics is the investment in upgrading healthcare facilities. 20/20 health stations of communes and town as well as District Health Centers built spaciously, supplied with  equipments and medicines in preventive health services and healthcare services. The contingent of medical personnel at the grassroots level has step by step enhanced the expertise, cultivated the medical ethics to serve the people. More and more people take medical examination at health facilities reducing overcrowding at hospitals.

Besides, there are Quang Nam Regional General Hospital, Vinh Duc General Hospital, Binh An General clinic in industrial zone, Association for district Oriental traditional medicine and medical clinics, the private clinics of Oriental traditional medicine licensed in the district. A over health network model has create favourable conditions in health care for the people. In 2014, there were 900 thousands patients checked health and treated in the district's health facilities.

Quang Nam Regional General Hospital was invested to built the spacious 4 floor house by "Central Coast and Central Highlands" Project. The hospital has 300 beds, 5 functional divisions and 19 departments. There was also modern equipment including CT Scanner, Color Ultrasound, high-frequency X-ray machine ... used to diagnose and treat. The hospital has 370  employees, officials and labor; among that there are 2 masters and 52 doctors.  It is interesting to note that the hospital has successfully implemented hard operations such as the operation of changing cox, ... which wasn't able to be implemented before. Sense of responsibility to patients has gradually strengthened. More and more patients have came to check health and treat. There are average more 400 patients per a day in the hospital. 

Vinh Duc General Hospital contributes to socialize the health care for the people. It is  a private hospital that was built and began operating in 2007. There are 200 beds, many functional departments. Every year, there are average 120 patients being examined and treated in this hospital. That contributes to reduce overcrowding in public health facilities. There are more 200 staffs, officers, among that there are 9 masters, 34 doctors having more experience, along with modern equipment system. The hospital applies new techniques in health care contributing to enhance the quality of treatment, meet the high technic health care needs of the people. In addition, reduction in health care payments in the hospital can be obtained if the treated person has a health insurance card follow the government's rule.

 In parallel with the work of health care,  the Dien Ban District Health Office acts as an advisor to District People's Committee implementing health programs reaching high results, such as: the propaganda heightening awareness health care for the people; the managerment and checking private health services, food safety and sanitary; Epidemic prevention and control; Environmental sanitation;  School health, Extended Programme on Immunization ... contributing to prevent developing and spreading quickly diseases and improve health for the people. "Health is a human's best wealth" , health care for the people is the most important tasks which is being continued to implement in the next time by the goverment and Dien Ban Health sector. Through that, people live in happiness contributing to build Dien Ban Dien Ban becoming the Town.
