The whole district had 6 centers for commune sport and culture, there were 2 centers in Dien Hong commune and Dien Trung commune built new entirely in the end of 2014.  The steering committees of the Commune Culture and Information Centers were set up and operated on regulations promulgated by the district. From 01 to 03 the culture and sport clubs were set up in each commune in order to act as the core for activities. Reading rooms were invested in communes. Dien Trung commune was invested many computers for accessing community internet by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation through the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Many culture houses and sport areas of hamlets were newly built and spaciously renovated to facilitate in community activities and organizing many activities such as culture and entertainment, sport in the local.

 In the end of 2014, Dien Quang, Dien Trung and Dien Phong communes achieved two cultural criterias according to the criteria for New Rural construction. Remaining communes reached from 70% to 90% of criteria No 16. Investing material foundations and promoting cultural activities successfully contributed to new rural construction and movement "All people uniting to build cultural life" in the district.
