In recent years,  the Party, government and people of Dien Phong commune have made great efforts get over difficulties, implemented and achieved many outstanding achievements in all fields of politics, economy, culture social,national security and defense. Focusing on economic development towards increasing the share of industry and reducing the share of agriculture have contributed to increase per capita income  of 25 million / person / year. Economic has developed, people's lives has improved. Up to now, poverty rate of commune is reduced to 4.8%. Especially, Dien Phong commune reached 16 criterias through 3 years of new rural construction and it is striving to complete 19 criterias in 2015.
