In industrial development, essentially, Dien Nam - Dien Ngoc Industrial Park (390ha) has filled 85%. This is a typical industrial park with good quality infrastructure. Facing with the domestic enterprises’ slow recovery, the remaining area should be a priority calling for Japanese business investment because Da Nang area and the vicinity have been identified as one of three investment centers of Japanese firms (seizing the opportunity wave of Japanese businesses are displaced investment from Chinese to Vietnam). 7 Japanese factories has invested in Dien Nam - Dien Ngoc Industrial Park and that is the basis for further promotion of other investors. It should be noted that once formed a community of Japanese enterprises in industry manufacturing, the enterprises in other sectors will be formed next such as infrastructure construction, urban development, medical, tourism, trade... which will facilitate access to the ODA source from the Japanese government, mobilizing resources for charity, social security, establishing friendly relationships with the Japanese locals in order to having opportunity to interact and learn, develop Dien Ban.

In 2014, the industrial value reached 6351.78 billion dong, up to 10.5%, in which Dien Nam - Dien Ngoc Industrial Park reached 5653.6 billion dong, up to 10.49%, attracted more 6 projects solving for more 1,000 employees; the industry - the handicraft industry reached 698.18 billion dong, up to 10.45%, attracted more 5 projects, solving more 700 employees. Up to now, 390ha area of Dien Nam - Dien Ngoc Industrial Park has basically been filled by 52 projects, solved for nearly 24,000 local workers; 213ha Industrial clusters have filled 48.96% by 28 projects, solved more than 3,960 local employees.

For the Industrial Clusters (ICs), Dien Ban focused on building three major centers: 1) An Lưu ICs – Thuong Tin – Nam Duong at Dien Nam Dong commune (132ha); 2) Trang Nhat 1 ICs - Trang Nhat 2 at Dien Thang Trung - Dien Thang Nam - Dien Hoa communes (104ha); 3) Cam Ha Industrial Cluster (39ha). This is the ICs near Da Nang city, foreign infrastructure should be facilitated in the investment. However, due to the limited resources that needs to review and adjust planning the ICs’ detailed planning to ensure with a minimum investment infrastructure still attract many businesses or the highest filled area. In this thing, we have been actively working in the past 2 years and now basically completed, the effectiveness has been promoted, especially An Luu Industrial cluster. Because of asynchronous and completed infrastructure as Dien Nam - Dien Ngoc Industrial park so that the businesses invested in industrial cluster mainly the internal businesses with medium and small scale, therefore we have to give priority to choose friendly environment projects and solve many in-place local laborers. The projects has caused environmental pollution such as fish meal, animal feed, steel ... should strictly control and the direction and moved as soon as possible; Tuynel brick manufacturing projects need to be encourage the enterprises to transite to unburn brick manufaturing technology and light construction materials. Once you have filled this ICs, Dien Ban has to focus on the management process, especially on environment and security, not develop other ICs to focus on developing services.
