Dien Ban Town has been awarded Emulation Flag: The Best unit in the movement of "The whole country join force to build new rural area" in 2011-2015 by the Prime Minister.

In the morning of December 8 2015, under the leadership of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, the Central Steering Committee (CSC) for the national target program on building new rural areas held the 5 year review of implementation of the program (period 2010-2015)

At the meeting, 14 ministries, Central organizations, 13 provinces and cities were awarded Labour Order, first class by the President; 66 districts were awarded Emulation Flag; 450 communes were awarded Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister because of having outstanding achievements in the movement of "The whole country join force to build new rural area".

Dien Ban Town had the honour of being awarded Emulation Flag: The Best unit in the movement of "The whole country join force to build new rural area" in 2011-2015.
